I got yo back momma!
Saturday we had a dress fitting for one of my friend's weddings. Malcolm and I went, however, he fell asleep on the way there. We were there for a little bit before he woke up. We had all exchanged hello's, compliments, and were making our way into our dresses. Malcolm finally woke up and was out of it because he was in a foreign place. However, he noticed that my cousin had the exact same purse as me. He got up, went over to Renee (Nay nay), pushed her and snatched her (my potential) purse back and gave it to me. He thrust the purse into my arms, and very seriously said, "here you go momma!" We all sat there for a minute puzzled and then it clicked! Malcolm thought that Renee had stolen my purse! I explained to Malcolm that there were two purses and this one was hers and that he needed to give it back. So he brought it back to her and with an attitude flung it at her "HERE!" **scowl scowl** I told him he needed to be nice about it. So he handed it to her and said "Here ya go! Thank you!" lol Hilarious! Guess I don't have to worry about anyone getting my stuff!

Brush-a Brush-a Brush-a
Today I had work at 8 to take care of Delores. Well last night Justin stayed up until like 5 in the morning, so I knew he was tired, but whatever, I had to go to my job. So anyway I went to the job and left Malcolm laying on the couch watching tv with his dada. When I came home the house was a little dark, no lights on but it was light out so it was dim in the house. Malcolm comes running up to me with [fake] flowers in his hand smelling them and saying mmMmm flowers, and thrusting them in my face to smell them. So I smelled them and I noticed Malcolm looked kind of dirty. So picked him up with a minty lingering smell and walked into the kitchen to get in the better light. And my son had, in the two hours I was gone, turned into a smurf. He was covered head to toe in toothpaste! I went into to the living room to get an explanation from Justin, and Justin tells me that Jeremy said I left him like that! WHAT! lol. Well whatever I take him upstairs to take a bath, put him in the bath and go to our room to get him a towel and clothes. Both beds are covered COVERED in blue toothpaste. So I throw the sheets in the wash, and look at the wall at the top of the stairs blue everywhere! Wiped those down and got Malcolm out. I got Malcolm's super cool Car's spin toothbrush out to brush his teeth out SCAREEEAAMING. I thought since I loved toothpaste so much brushing his teeth was going to be easy as pie. Thought wrong. lol
Justin took Malcolm out yesterday, first nice day in a while and they brought out his basketball hoop and everytime Malcolm scored he screamed, "I WIN!", bowed, and said, "Thank you, thank you!" He is such a goofball.
Saturday, Mr. Council mopped the floor and we told Malcolm he had to stay off of it. Well Malcolm listens so well that he went on the floor and started sliding. "Woooahh SIPPPRY!" I busted out laughing. The floor was definitely slippery, but I don't think we even told Malcolm that, so it was really cute.

Well here's to nothin'
Everyday I go to work and tell me friends about my awesome son that does the funniest things. They told me that I should write in a journal about all of the funny things that he does so that one day he can look back and see what a funny kind of kid he was/is. He is the most amazing child I've ever known and I can't imagine my life without him. We will do a couple stories so far to catch us up to today. Just a few I could go on forever, but I know there will be so many more. I also want to start including pictures for my wonderful son lol.
One day Justin brings home this little cat bed. It's a cylinder with a whole in it and the whole thing is carpeted... well my lovely son is so perplexed by the bed the he puts his head inside and then turns it so it gets stuck... So he starts screaming "STUCK!! STUCK!! HEEEEEELLLPPP!! we glance over and Malcolm is trying to do the one two with his feet pushing his head out... it's just terrible. Finally Justin and I have to lend a helping hand and we have to hold his head and turn the cylinder to the correct alignment and we get it out. This was about a month ago, guess what he did today. Oh yeah, he got it stuck again.
About a month ago, Malcolm got ahold of some permanent markers and decided that he wanted to be an artist when he got older and should start practicing now. He drew all over the wall. Well Justin just getting off a midnight shift thinks he can just wash it off, when that doesn't work he tries to do some patchwork and paint fresh white paint on the 5 year old white paint didn't exactly work too well. However, Justin being Justin thought it looked great lol. So Malcolm and Justin, well mostly Justin, decided that it was nap time and they went upstairs and took a nap. Justin was ready for bed Malcolm was ready for a power nap, so Malcolm woke up first and after seeing daddy playing with the paint he wanted to also... it looked like so much fun!!! Apparently daddy woke up only a few minutes after Malcolm, however, in that time Malcolm managed to dump an entire gallon of white wall paint all over the floor, the carpet, the rugs. His new nickname: Picasso.
For Malcolm's birthday he got a baseball bat, balls, and a talking tee. Well the morning of his birthday he was playing with this toy and everytime he hit the ball regardless of where it went he put his arm across his belly, bowed, and said Thank you!! Thank you!!
In closing one last story... yesterday I was using the restroom and Malcolm knocks on the door and I ask "who is it?" He continued to knock so I figured that it was Malcolm, so I let him in. He comes in and I asked him who are you? So that I could see if he knew to respond with his name. Do you know what he said... He said "I'm me". Best answer I've ever heard.
